Kate and a host

$49 + $0?

Kate is $49 a year. The day itself needs a host — a friend, an aunt, someone you pay. If you are paying, we suggest $250–$500. If they will do it for love, let them.

Even paying a host $500, that is $6,451 that stays in your wedding. If a friend does it for love, $6,951.

What a planner does, and what Kate does

Including what she cannot do. She is an app; some things need a person.

The one thing an app cannot do

On the day, a planner’s real job is to be in the room — checking the florist came, lining up the processional, handing each vendor their envelope. Kate cannot stand in the room. So she trains the person who will.

  • Pick a host: a friend, an aunt, or someone you pay ($250–$500 is our suggestion).
  • Kate builds them a minute-by-minute plan from your own day — what to check, what to do, what to hand to whom.
  • Every vendor’s number on one screen, an emergency-kit list, and a short guide to hosting a wedding.
  • They tick it off on their phone. No account, no app to install.
